Why does coconut oil solidify? What is the best way to liquefy the oil?
Certified Organic Virgin Coconut Oil naturally solidifies below 76 degrees Fahrenheit. The best methods to liquefy the oil are to place the sealed container in hot water or in a naturally warm environment such as the sun. Please do not microwave the coconut oil, as you will destroy the natural properties of coconut oil by doing so.
Can individuals with sensitive skin use their products?
Yes, their products contain no harsh ingredients and are great for sensitive skin. If your skin is sensitive to fragrance, then they suggest their Fragrance Free Line of products and the many wonderful things that it can do.
Can you use the scrub on your face?
Their Sugar Polish is gentle enough to use on the face, as well as any part of the body. The Coral Sea Salt is a bit more abrasive so using it on the face might be too rough for some people.
Will the coconut oil stain clothes?
No, their Certified Organic Coconut Oil will wash out of clothes and sheets. Thus, this oil makes a perfect fit for massage, tanning, and use as a daily moisturizer.
The Coconut Oil products state that they can be used on hair too, how do you do a hair treatment with the oil?
Apply liberally to dampened hair, leave in for any desired length, and shampoo out. This is an inexpensive oil treatment that will leave your hair soft, conditioned, and protected from environmental factors.

The Very Beginning
The tale of Organic Fiji starts on a beautiful group of islands far, far away. The Fijian Islands are a group of tropical islands located in the South Pacific about 1100 miles Northwest of New Zealand. Bob Rogers, the founder of Organic Fiji, discovered the beauty of these islands in 2001 on a family vacation. While he was there he noticed how all the islanders had beautiful, healthy, glowing skin. Their secret, he came to find out, was coconut oil. Certified organic, cold pressed coconut oil. He learned how they used it in their daily routines, beauty regimes, and in their diet. He witnessed first hand how this ingredient can benefit people in so many different ways.
Bob went on to find out that there was a coconut plantation in Fiji. The coconuts grown at this plantation were cold pressed to produce certified organic virgin coconut oil. He learned that this method of extraction meant that all the goodness of the coconut was kept in tact. The plantation also burned the coconut husks afterwards to provide a clean, sustainable and environmentally friendly source of energy for the plantation and the surrounding communities. This plantation not only produced a valuable ingredient that held so many benefits, but was also socially responsible for its working actions.
Bob felt that the secret of the coconut, its seemingly endless list of benefits and the working methods of this coconut plantation were all too much of a treasure to keep to himself: he wanted to share it with the world! With this enthusiasm and passion Organic Fiji was born!
